"Is it true that guys are at their sexual peak when they’re teenagers?" -- Devon, 24

Not quite.

From a purely physical standpoint the “peak” of such things as testosterone levels, how fast you get an erection, how easy it is to maintain an erection, and how fast you can regain an erection following ejaculation happens around age 20. After that, testosterone levels and other physical parameters slowly decline. Testosterone drops, on average, by about 1% a year—which isn’t much, but it can be a real problem after 30 or 40 years.

Remember, though, that sex is definitely an area where experience counts. Older guys are more likely to know how to turn a woman on and satisfy her completely than any teenager. And the fact that older guys tend to last longer before ejaculating is almost always a good thing from the woman’s point of view.
