Could This Be The Box Art For The Next ‘Call of Duty?’

The official unveiling of the next Call of Duty game is at hand, and we told you information would start leaking out beforehand. What you see above is what some are contending is the European box for Black Ops 2, which means that it may well be the American version as well.

Although we'd like to believe, we've got to look at the image as skeptically as we would another Rex Ryan Super Bowl prediction. The design seems basic and clumsy, even for a game store promo.

While game stores commonly slap together unauthorized box art to prop up on display cases in order to attract pre-orders, those boxes don't usually take the liberty of guessing at the game's titles. So if this box is by any means legit, it could be a tip-off that this year's entry in the franchise will indeed be Black Ops 2 rather than the rumored Eclipse.
