Christian Hackenberg Commits to Penn State — National College Signing Day 2013

Christian Hackenberg, one of the nation's top-rated prep football quarterbacks, signed a letter of intent to play for Penn State on National College Signing Day 2013.

Hackenberg is a 6-foot-4, 212-pound senior at Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, Va. He completed 156 of 291 passes for 2,144 yards and 24 touchdowns as a senior.

He leads an impressive class for Nittany Lions head coach Bill O'Brien, whose program is still under heavy NCAA sanctions as a result of the child sex abuse scandal involving former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky.
