CM Punk has held the WWE Championship for well over a year. He can now add another award to his shelf -- Wrestler of the Year.

There was little surprise in Punk's win, and the 32% of the voting he grabbed, but what did come as a surprise to many was the popularity of WWE newcomer Ryback. While the beast did have a solid year, he beat out names like Sheamus, Daniel Bryan and Jeff Hardy to place second with 19% of the votes. Impressive for a guy so new and makes us think that 2013 might be his year.

Congrats to CM Punk and all of the competitors.
