Patrick Moote learned how to use what he has. An actor and comedian, Moote proposed to his girlfriend at a UCLA basketball game a few years ago. She said no and ran away — primarily because Moote has a small penis. Instead of changing his name and relocating to another continent, Moote embraced his shortcomings and decided to make a documentary: "Unhung Hero."

The film, featuring Moote's "quest to find out how much size matters in 2013," debuted at South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Tex. earlier this month. Moote promoted the film by posting pictures of his naked body all over the festival, sort of like a Bizarro-World Dirk Diggler.

Is this a gag? Moote says no. He talked at length about the film with Men's Health:

"…I realized it wasn’t about size. It was about the individual, about embracing your insecurities. To be able to take the whole thing and be public with it, as difficult as it has been, has also been a liberating journey for me… Women I date now know about this thing. It’s such a liberating thing to be able to talk about it with your significant other. But I don’t even have to talk about it as they can just watch the film."

Moote seems sincere, and he's certainly put himself out there to prove "Unhung Hero" is not just a stunt. We'll see if the film connects with viewers, especially guys who might be more insecure — and less endowed — than Moote.
