‘Darksiders II’ Needs a Couple Extra Months To Come To Light

Darksiders.com

If you were planning your summer vacation around the couple weeks you planned on locking yourself down along with Darksiders II, you’ll want to pull up your calendar app to do some rearranging. Originally due out June 26, the game has been pushed back until sometime in August.

The original Darksiders was one of the happy surprises of early 2010, letting you play as horseman of the Apocalypse in War, an action game that blended God of War-style combat with Legend of Zelda-like puzzles. Its sequel passes the baton of destruction to Death, who looks to be more agile and vicious than War.

We’re normally fans of delaying Death as long as possible, but not in this case. We suppose we can wait a few more weeks if it means the final product will be more polished.
