Dolph Ziggler — ‘That Was the Stupidest Thing I’ve Ever Been Asked to Do’

Dolph Ziggler and other WWE superstars recently did a promotional tour in Australia. In an interview with TV Week, Ziggler admitted that a recent angle in the WWE was “the stupidest thing he’s ever been asked to do” and spoke candidly about his time in the Spirit Squad.

Ziggler spoke about his career thus far and believes that being in the Spirit Squad “hurt his career” but he has been able to overcome it. The one wrestling moment he hasn’t been able to live down and called “stupid” was his 11 minutes and 23 seconds as World Heavyweight Champion. He was given the belt and dropped it to Edge on the same night.

Ziggler mentioned that he’d like to stay in the wrestling business once his in-ring career is over but that “his face should be in the movies.”
