TV has the Nielsens. Movies have the box office. Music has the Billboards. Video games have Raptr, the official video game rankings, and they just awarded 'Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim' with the honor of being the Most Played Game of 2011.

The annual report, dubbed the "Raptr Awards," bestows top honors on the most played and popular video games released each year. The titles were examined and compiled based on the total amount of playtime by each player and "average session length" in the game's first month of release. They also measured each game based on the "average playtime per person" in the first week of release.

Other winners this year include 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3' for Most Player Shooter, 'Batman: Arkham City' for Most Played Open Word Game, 'Fifa Soccer 12' for Most Played Sports Game and 'L.A. Noire' for Most Played New IP. 'Skyrim' also took home the Most Played RPG of 2011.

Ceremonies were held, but no one showed up, because they were all stuck to their couches playing video games.
