HBO’s Game of Thrones…If It Were Made in 1995
You're completely stoked about the upcoming season premiere for HBO's 'Game of Thrones' on March 31. You're ready for some more great acting by Peter Dinklage with his Tyrion Lannister character. You can't wait to get back to Winterfell while you eat chips from the comfort of your couch.
But how would the show look back in the day? Wonder no more. Here is a look at 'Game of Thrones' circa 1995. I'm guessing it came on right after 'Oz'.
HBO recently issued a press release about the season premiere, describing what we're in store for in "Valar Doheris", which is the name of the first episode.
"As season three begins, the Lannisters hold absolute dominion over King’s Landing after repelling Stannis Baratheon’s forces. Yet Robb Stark, King in the North, still controls much of the South as well, and has yet to lose a battle. In the Far North, Mance Rayder has united the wildlings into the largest army Westeros has ever seen. Only the Night’s Watch stands between him and the Seven Kingdoms, but nobody knows what happened to its Lord Commander and the force he led beyond the Wall."
