‘Game of Thrones’ Gets the Mondo Poster Treatment

Mike Mitchell/

Hey, ‘Game of Thrones’ fans! Are you loving that sweet poster of Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister at the top of this post? Of course you are! You wanna see more awesome ‘GoT’ art like that? Of course you do!

Lucky for you, Mondo, the brilliant collectible art arm of the Alamo Drafthouse, is prepping for a sweet ‘GotT’ art show at this year’s South by Southwest Festival in Austin, TX.

The gallery event will kick off March 8 at the Mondo gallery in Austin and run through March 12. Artists like Craig Drake, Daniel Danger, Jason Edmiston, Horkey and more will contribute ‘Game of Thrones’ posters and art for the show, which will also feature the first two of eight new limited edition ‘GoT’ screen prints.

The gallery show will also feature the premiere of Brewery Ommegang’s new ‘Game of Throne’ beer. Yes, ‘Game of Thrones’ beer! The only way this event could get any better is if Khaleesi showed up and released her dragons!

The show kicks off its third season on HBO on March 31.
