Sony Santa Monica has provided an inside look at all the changes coming to hitting in MLB 13: The Show.

Hitting is the star of the latest dev diary for MLB 13: The Show. There are a handful of big changes coming to this year's iteration, and to prepare players, Sony Santa Monica has put together a brief walkthrough of what's in store.

An all-new adaptive hitting system will be implemented for newcomers, that will increase in difficulty as players become better. Additionally, baseball players in the game will hit with more accurate spray charts, giving the baseball sim one more notch in its true-to-life belt. The hitting windows will be open longer, and there will also be more ways to connect with the ball when you're at the plate.

Take a look at the video, and let us know which team you'll be playing for when MLB 13: The Show arrives on March 5th.
