If you are looking for the block of the year in the National Football League so far, you need to check out this clip of Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate blowing up a Cowboys defender over the weekend.

The Seahawks were driving late in the fourth quarter when rookie quarterback Russell Wilson scrambled out of the pocket to get a first down for Seattle. One of the blocks that gave Wilson the room to run was Golden Tate's vicious hit on Dallas linebacker Sean Lee that sent the Cowboy down for the count.

Ironically, there was a penalty on the play but not on Tate. An unnecessary roughness penalty was called on Cowboys linebacker Brady James for pushing Wilson out of bounds late.
