Heather Cox Gets Snubbed During Rose Bowl Interview and Asks ‘Are You Kidding Me?!?’
Hell hath no fury like a sideline reporter getting snubbed on national television. Fine, maybe ESPN reporter Heather Cox didn't unleash hell, but she did get a little miffed.
Cox tried to grab a post-game interview with Rose Bowl-winning coach David Shaw of Stanford. The Rose Bowl Committee cut her off because apparently there are trophies given at the end of these bowl games. Probably stuff like "nicest player" and "most likely to listen to Psy in a non-ironic way."
Cox's mic was still on during the snub and she blurts out a “Are you kidding!?” to show her disapproval of the situation. Or maybe she just found out she didn't win the trophy for "name that sounds the most like penis."
Maybe next year.
