Injured Greek Soccer Player Nearly Hit With Explosive

Last weekend, a feisty Greek soccer match got a little more explosive when a fan near one of the goals threw an explosive device at an injured player on the field. This is the second explosive soccer moment in the last few months as an Iranian soccer player exploded a grenade after picking it up.

During the Anorthosis and Omonia Nicosia match , members of the Anorthosis training staff were working on one of their injured players until a flare exploded near them. The flare caused a flash of big blue light and smoke soon bellowed from it.

Thankfully for the staff and the injured player, no one suffered any major injuries.
