Is Lolo Jones Dating an NFL Star?

Famous athletes dating other athletes is nothing new. Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf have been married for 13 years.  Over the years, Serena Williams has been romantically linked with Keyshawn Johnson, Corey Maggette and Amar’e Stoudemire.  Golfer Rory McIlroy has been paired with tennis star Caroline Wozniacki since early 2011. 

So I guess it shouldn’t come as a surprise that, just because they happened to be in the same building (along with 80,000 other people), it would naturally be reported that Detroit Lions bad boy Ndamukong Suh and Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones are an item.

Suh and Jones were first spotted together at the Drake Relays track event in Des Moines in April. However, at the time both wrote it off as simply two friends who shared the same agent and who happened to be in town at the same time. But the pair have been reportedly spotted together again with Jones showing up at Ford Field as Suh’s guest for last week’s Lions game against the Saint Louis Rams.

According to a report from an unnamed “insider”, Jones and Suh “have been kickin it for a while, and they are serious. [Suh] is very religious too, and respectful . . . they make a great couple."

After the report broke, Jones issued a semi-denial, saying, “"We are not currently dating. However, if the Lions win the Super Bowl and he wants to use the ring to propose to me, then we'll see."

We believe her. After all, Jones has publicly stated that she is a virgin and plans to stay that way until marriage. She’s obviously saving herself for Tim Tebow.
