Just a month after winning the Super Bowl, quarterback Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms on a six-year, $120.6 million contract, ESPN reports. The deal will make the quarterback the highest-paid player in NFL history.

Flacco and the team will work out the details over the weekend. He is expected to sign the deal in Baltimore on Monday. He made $6.76 million over the past season. By making the agreement prior to 4 p.m. Monday, the franchise deadline, the Ravens avoid a salary cap hit of $19.5 million.

Flacco, 28, has thrown for 17,633 yards, 102 touchdowns and 52 interceptions in 80 career games. Flacco's 63 combined wins in the regular and postseason are the most by any quarterback in the Super Bowl era.

The new deal allows Flacco to supplant Drew Brees as the NFL's highest paid player, The New Orleans Saints' quarterback averages $20 million per year.
