Oakland Outfielder Josh Reddick and WWE Star Daniel Bryan are Having a ‘Beard-Off’

Two worlds of excessive facial hair collided Tuesday, as Oakland A’s outfielder Josh Reddick accepted a challenge from the WWE’s Daniel Bryan for the two men to have a ‘beard-off.’ Bryan threw down the gauntlet on Twitter and Reddick, a longtime WWE fan with his own championship belt, took the bait.
I hereby challenge @joshreddick16 to a beard-off til years end. Fans vote, loser shaves it off. #BeardOff twitter.com/WWEDanielBryan…

Fans will vote on whose beard they like best. The loser must shave. Reddick was ahead of Bryan as of this writing, but there’s a long way to go. Reddick can always call in the Giants’ Brian Wilson or the Nationals/ Jayson Werth as MLB brothers-in-beards to help get him votes.
We’re this close to competitive facial hair growing/grooming becoming a pay-per-view event. If the WWE has any sense, it will use former WWE star Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake or Razor Ramon as designated shavers.
