Sex-positive Laci Green is a peer sex educator who uploads videos that deal with all things sex. In this video, she talks about how pulling out can be a viable option.

Laci says that the pull out method gets a bad rep because a lot of people don't do it correctly. She boils down the problems to three key factors: the presence of pre-ejaculate, timing and the fact that some partners aren't good candidates for it.

The first topic she discusses is that of pre-ejaculate and how a very small percentage of men have actual sperm in theirs. The presence of sperm in the pre-ejaculate can definitely be a huge factor, even if it's just leftover sperm from a previous ejaculation. Laci says that what might help clear away leftover sperm is urinating before having sex.

With regard to timing, Laci says that this is where most people get it wrong and pull out too late. Folk will think that they can handle it, but then get too close to orgasm and can't control themselves. The result is a pretty big oopsie.

And lastly, Laci runs down a list of of characteristics for couples who would be good candidates for the pull out method. She says they need to be monogamous, tested for STIs together, experienced couples with self control. She recommends that they practice a few times with a condom on, just so that they're sure they have the timing right. And most importantly, she says the partners need to have a lot of trust and really know each other's bodies.

According to Laci, the best way to practice the pull out method is to combine it with another method, such as condoms or birth control pills. For more information, you can check out her YouTube page, Twitter and Facebook.
