The 26-year-old singer-songwriter whose real name is Lizzie Grant made headlines in January with her widely criticized performance on SNL.

After Lana signed with Stranger Records, she released her debut single "Video Games" in June 2011. The song earned her a Q award for "Next Big Thing" in October of that year.

Del Rey then signed a joint deal with Interscope and Polydor, where she relesed her second studio album 'Born to Die' in January 2012. So far, it's peaked in the top 10 on album charts in 26 countries including #1 spot in 10 countries and #1 Rock Album and Alternative Album in the US.

Ms. Grant is currently recording her third studio album, set for release in November.
