The three surviving members of Led Zeppelin will be interviewed — but apparently will not perform — on Monday night’s (Dec. 3) episode of the ‘Late Show with David Letterman.’

Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones — who will be fresh off receiving the prestigious Kennedy Center Honor the night before — will turn up on Letterman’s couch to promote their newly released ‘Celebration Day’ live album, which documents their one-off 2007 reunion concert. (Letterman’s also getting the same award, it seems they’re all carpooling from D.C. to New York City.)

Presumably they’ll also dodge questions about any further reunion plans, and if we’re lucky maybe Plant can give his spotlight-shy former bandmate Page some advice about how to re-start his long-dormant solo career. Expect Jones to be the quietest of the trio; perhaps he’ll be daydreaming (as we do) about a possible second Them Crooked Vultures album.
