Major League Baseball began its 2013 first-year player draft on Thursday night, as teams selected the amateur players whom fans will soon be calling overpriced hacks in the years to come. The circle of life, amirite?

Among the notable picks in the first round was the Cleveland Indians selection of Clint Frazier, a outfielder from Loganville (Ga.) H.S. with the fifth-overall pick. In addition to being one of the top prep players in the U.S., Frazier fancies himself a little pop music. Listen to the video above to hear Frazier sing Taylor Swift's 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.'

Old timers must cringe at this sort of thing, and not just because Frazier is off-key. You'd never hear Indians' legends like Albert Belle, Joe Carter or Rocky Colavito singing Taylor Swift (we know she wasn't born yet then; work with us). Let's hope Frazier hits fastballs better than he does high notes.
