‘Men In Black Alien Crisis’ Videogame Announced
Activison has just announced that they'll be releasing Men in Black: Alien Crisis on May 25th, just in time for Men In Black 3.
The tie-in game won't let you play as Agents J or K, instead giving you the role of Peter Delacoeur, a MIB Agent in training who's given the pretty big and seemingly important job of unearthing aliens who are trying to destroy the Earth. You'll apparently have to sneak around watching for hidden surveillance and stealthy guards, and they're promising "realistic MIB Agent movements as players shoot, and dodge their way through action-packed levels to escape fierce alien assaults."
The game will be available for Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, coming with Move support for the latter and compatibility with the "Top Shot Elite" gun peripheral for all. (Developer Fun Labs is the team behind Activision's Cabela's hunting series, which uses the gun.) Each version of MIB Alien Crisis will support two-player splitscreen and a four-player competitive mode.
As for the story, Activision enlisted the help of Starlight Runner Entertainment for a script. Sony Pictures picked them to provide a single voice on upcoming properties related to the film, and if it's a hit you can bet we'll be seeing more of those. Let's just hope this isn't a cheap cash-in- it's always good to be wary when a game hits the exact same day as the film.
