Metal Gear Rising Adds More Virtual Fun for PS3

If you're a PlayStation 3 owner who's going to slice it up in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, you should be excited to know that you'll be getting an exclusive downloadable content pack!

And as you can probably tell from the screenshots, the DLC pack will contain VR Missions, which are challenges that let you test both Raiden's mettle and metal. These missions will be exclusive to the the PS3, according to the PlayStation Blog, and will include a, "mix of combat training, tactical maneuvering, stealth-based approaches and more," which is par for the course of a Metal Gear game.

The actions will take place on original stages that you won't be able to find in the campaign, so every mission should feel like a fresh experience for your little cyborg buddy. There's also the promise of being able to pilot the Dwarf Gekko. Whether or not this is a welcome addition is up to player preference.

There's no set price point for the DLC, but we're crossing our cybernetic fingers and hoping that it will be available for free! Watch out for the DLC pack on February 19th, 2013, which is the same day that the game proper is released!
