Minor league sports teams are always good for special promotions to spark fan interest, but the Tulsa Oilers hockey team ramped things up a notch with special Dark Knight-themed jerseys.

For one night only (Black Friday, appropriately enough) the Oilers rebranded themselves as the Gotham City Crusaders, complete with Batman uniforms, free admission for kids 12 and under and special prizes for kids who came in Batman costumes. They included special Dark Knight-themed music, graphics and even costumes for their Ice Girls dance squad. The Oilers also asked all fans to wear black and auctioned off the jerseys after the game.

All in all, very cool, but for a major-league type effort we want to see a Zamboni Batmobile.
