Undefeated fighter Nick Newell is one of MMA's rising stars and it's not just for his impressive 6-0 professional record. Newell was born without a left hand and forearm.

He started studying ju-jitsu and wrestling in high school and soon moved to amateur MMA fighting. His first appearance at XFC 15 against Denis Hernandez earned him his first professional win and a standing ovation.

Newell told MMAFighting.com that he wants to prove to everyone (especially those with handicaps) that people with disabilities can do anything they want as long as they give it their best.

"Winning is very important to me," he said, "but at the end of the day, even if I lose, as long as I know I gave it everything I had, there's no shame in that."
