New Video Game Releases

The new video game releases for January 2013 officially end the holiday season. Holiday shopping season is over but you can yank out that GameStop gift card, gamers, and enjoy a couple of exciting new releases for PlayStation and Xbox 360. Here's are list of the new video game releases for January 2013. There's not a ton, since it's that time of year, but there will be some new games on shelves.

Combat lovers will be stoked to try out a variety of moves with Anarchy Reigns, which will be available on both platforms on Jan. 8.

PlayStation users and role playing fiends can enter the realm of magic, alternate realities and a parallel universe with Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, where the main character Oliver must navigate existence after his mother dies saving him from drowning. The game also involves a doll that comes to life via his tears. The storyline ins intense, but celebrate since the Japanese game finally sees a Western release this month.

Lastly, Hitman HD Trilogy combines 40 assassin missions from across the three previously released games in the franchise under one roof, so to speak. It's upgraded for crisp and beautiful HD viewing.
