Rayman Legends Demo Is Up

Yo, Wii-U owners. Have you been waiting patiently to play Rayman Legends, staring forlornly at your Gamepad and hoping for the chance to 'copter around with your head?

Well, wait no longer, ye with the patience of a saint, because the demo is available for download today! According to Destructoid, you'll be able to live out your Wii-U platforming dreams, albeit for only 30 minutes, in three levels called Teensies in Trouble, Toad Story, and Castle Rock.

The demo is currently live only in the US, but the UK version should go up later in the day. Destructoid editor Chris Carter previously played the demo at a Nintendo event and said, "I absolutely loved it. The Pro Controller works great, as does the tablet. I can't wait for this game, and the addition of that new character only sweetens the deal."

The new character he refers to is a female viking warrior named Barbara who is whirl of red hair and carries a battleaxe blade, a definite change from the all-male cast in past Rayman games. Check out the trailer below and get to downloadin'!
