Springfield, who is best known for his hit 80’s song “Jessie’s Girl,” was pulled over by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for a simple traffic violation.

After officers smelled alcohol in Springfield’s car, they suspected he was intoxicated and issued sobriety tests. The singer had a blood alcohol content that measured at .10, which is .02 over the legal limit.

The former “General Hospital” star was released on a $5,000 bond and later pleaded not guilty to the charges.
