Usually when you find yourself playing a free version of the game that the developer doesn't want you to have, it's because you partook in some illegal downloading shenanigans. But that's not the case with the shooter Super Monday Night Combat.

A buggy, work-in-progress version of the game came out on Steam. Instead of freaking out and pulling the game faster than you can queue it up, developer Uber entertainment is just letting it ride, moving up the game's official release date to now. The game is said to be buggy, but Uber plans on monitoring how it holds up under heavy play and rolling out a patch when it can.

Downloadable here, the game is free-to-play, meaning it gives you the first taste for free in hopes of coaxing some green out of you for upgrades and enhancements.
