Young and raucous punk-pop brats the Crash Bandits get back to basics with their debut, 'The Mutt EP.' The dudes in band might be in their salad days, but they've been around the block. In response to the obnoxious and shiny sound their city and scene began rewarding over the last few years, the guys deconstructed the projects they were part of and revisited the raw sound exhibited on the essential records of their childhoods.

"We wanted to write music like the music we grew up listening to," frontman Matt Brown told Diffuser.fm. "The music that brought all our friends together."
