There's a vast array of weapons you can use to defend yourself from walkers, such as guns, katanas, and baseball bats. This March, you can add the Wii U's GamePad to that list.

According to CVG, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct will be headed to Wii U consoles as well, joining the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 releases. The article says that producer Glen Gamble spoke to Digital Spy (the link to the article is now broken), and said, "We were over halfway through the project when the Wii U thing started coming about. We didn't want to change the game, because the game had already been established, so we tried to say, 'What can we augment with the Wii U version?'"

Gamble went on to say that they've added a, "more elegant inventory management system," which would make sense, given the GamePad's touchscreen that allows for easy access. No other details emerged about the differences in the Wii U version of the game, but some new screenshots did, as well as a March 29th, 2013 release date in the UK. There's yet to be an official release date for any platform on North American shores. Peep the screens below and let us know how you think this game is shaping up in the comments section!
