The Toledo Mud Hens are going intergalactic this weekend. In honor of May 4th, an official 'Star Wars' celebration day ("May the Fourth be with you." Get it?), the Mud Hens will wear jerseys inspired by Chewbacca, Han Solo's Wookie. (Do we really have to explain who the hell Chewbacca is?)

The jerseys are designed to mimic Chewbacca's fur and bandoleer, but no Wookies were harmed in the making of the uniforms. The Class-AAA affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, the Mud Hens will also hold an on-field 'Star Wars' costume parade, offer face-painting for kids and present a fireworks display.

While we're totally bummed that the team is not handing out lightsabers — maybe because fans wouldn't concentrate on the game while making that 'VVVVVVVV' sound — if a fireworks expert has found a way to demolish a Death Star over the stadium as a finale, we're totally going to this game.
