Vernon Hargreaves III Commits to Florida — National College Signing Day 2013

Vernon Hargreaves III, one of the nation's top-rated prep football players, announced Wednesday that he intends to play college football at Florida. Hargreaves is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound senior at Wharton High School in Tampa, Fla. He had 100 tackles, five interceptions and four forced fumbles as a senior safety in 2012.

Hargreaves is expected to move to cornerback once he begins to play for the Gators. He had an interception and two pass deflections to win the MVP award in the Under Armour All-America game.
