An old man at a driving range once told us "driving is for show but putting is for the dough." We think he was homeless or maybe a creature that escaped the woods to collect the magical white pellets to offer to the rain gods.

Kidding. We understood him and learned long ago that he was 100% correct -- it's nice to drive the ball a million miles but if you can't putt you're never going to improve. Still, it's nice to crush the ball a country mile, especially with a a 14-foot-2.5-inch club. You also have to consider the 146 yards this ball traveled "crushing" the ball.

It's twice our normal drive.
