Back in the day, one of the biggest staples of the mall and movie theater arcades was the face smashing, button masher 'Wrestlefest.'. Now it's back on the iPhone and the iPad.

THQ has revived the classic square circle pixel-fest that not only includes some of the biggest and brightest names from World Wrestling Entertainment's not-so-humble beginnings but also their newest superstars. It includes 30 current and former WWE superstars like John Cena, The Rock, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts and 'Macho Man' Randy Savage.

The app also offers several modes of beating your opponent's face into the mat including a one-on-one throw-down, tag team matches, steel cage showdowns and even a Royal Rumble free-for-all. Players can also set their matches in one of four unique arenas including the Raw, SmackDown, WrestleMania and 'Saturday Night's Main Event' settings.

Right now, it's only available on Apple's App Store but THQ has plans to expand the franchise to the XBox Live Arcade, the PlayStation Network, the Android Market and the home PC sometime later year. Future updates will also include additional playable characters including CM Punk, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Big Boss Man.

Frankly, we would rather be able to play with the WWE Divas.
