It’s late March and people who generally leave the room when you talk about wrestling are starting to ask questions like, “The Undertaker is still wrestling!?” which can mean only one thing: ‘WrestleMania’ season is upon us. After last year’s somewhat underwhelming event, ‘WrestleMania XXVIII’ is looking to be a pretty damn awesome affair. While the WWE has been, rightfully, spending most of it’s advertising budget on pushing the massive Rock vs. John Cena match, that’s far from the only reason to tune into the show this Sunday, April 1.

In contrast with last year’s event, which seemed designed to please absolutely no one (unless you’re one of that rare breed that gets a kick out of Announcer vs. Announcer matches), ‘WrestleMania XXVIII’ has something for everyone: A giant marquee event with the biggest names in the industry? Rock vs. Cena. A showdown between two grizzled veterans? Taker vs. HHH. A technical clinic to please even the most jaded members of the internet wrestling community? Punk vs. Jericho. And chances are, you’ll even get to see your favorite midcarder strut down the aisle on his way to a 12-man tag team match.

Call me crazy and optimistic, but that sounds like a pretty good wrestling show – and with so many matches on the card, the Divas contest probably won’t even be that long! Keep reading to get the full rundown on each of the eight matches at ‘WrestleMania XXVIII,’ and if you find yourself in the New York City area this Sunday, make sure to stop by Highland Park on 34th Street near 3rd Avenue. Tweet at me and come say hello while I freak out at four hours of wrestling!
