Texas Rangers Fan Creates Soulja Boy Tribute Song For Yu Darvish

The year was 2007: The Indianapolis Colts were Super Bowl Champions, Giants slugger Barry Bonds hit his 756th home run to pass Hank Aaron on the all-time home run list, and a rapper named Soulja Boy topped the charts with his hit song ‘Crank That’.

If you thought that song was, and still is, annoying, a Texas Rangers fan and rapper who goes by the name of Smosy decided to do a tribute version of the ditty in honor of Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish called ‘Do The Yu (Put That Bat Away)’.

We’re still trying to figure out what’s funnier: Smosy’s dancing or the fact that it might be better than Crank Dat.
