This cop was armed...and legged...and chested.

A female off-duty police officer, wearing a bikini, recently arrested a man who tried to steal a cell phone from one of her friends while they were sunbathing. A photo of Mikaela Kellner cuffing the suspect was posted on Instagram and went viral quicker than the time it takes to say "two piece."

The rough translation of the photo is as follows:

A poor homeless guy as you might think trying to do the right thing . He sell newspapers rather than parasitic !! When we declines to buy his newspapers he fits in to steal my cell phone !! Very cleverly him when he sneaks down their newspapers over the phone and can then bring it with ease !! Osis for this guy because he happened to steal two poliser👮🏻👮🏻 !! My initial intervention while wearing a bikini during my 11 years as police !! Pretty fun and pleasant , I must say 😂😂 ! Beware of pickpockets , keep track of your valuables !!

The suspect reportedly tried to dupe Kellner's friends by saying he was selling magazines for the homeless (yeah, next time you're trying to fool someone, come up with a better lie). The man continued to hang around after they rejected him, so Kellner sensed something was amiss.

When he finally left, one of her friends realized he swiped the phone and Kellner, an 11-year veteran of the force, realized the goon used the magazines to cover the phone and take it. She then turned into superhero mode.

"There was no time, so I ran after him, maybe 15 meters or so," Kellner said. "I just acted on instinct and didn't think about it so much until after we had pinned him down. When I sat there I looked over at our other two friends who are not police officers and realized that it probably looked pretty funny. But I would have stepped in no matter my outfit."

No word if the woman works undercover and wears a wire. Or, in this case, an underwire.
