Katy Perry, the 27-year-old singer-songwriter and actress born in Santa Barbara, California is the only artist to spend more than 52 consecutive weeks in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100.

As of 2012, Perry has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards was named 2011's 'Artist of the Year' by MTV. She has sold 37+ million digital tracks in the U.S., 11 million albums and 74+ million digital tracks worldwide.

Perry placed 4th on Maxim's Hot 100, 6th on FHM's Sexiest Women in the World, and 16th on AskMen's Top 99 Women.

Next up for California Girl is the 3D concert documentary, 'Katy Perry: Part of Me', which releases on July 5th. She's also rumored to star in the British musical comedy, "One Chance', which centers on an aspiring singer who becomes a reality show sensation.
