No. 48: Left 4 Dead 2 – 100 Greatest Games Ever

Left 4 Dead is arguably the greatest co-op game ever made, certainly one where cooperation matters more than in any other game. If players don't gel as a team, you will all die horribly, taken down by swarms of zombies and other evils.

It was amusing to watch the toothless boycott that sprouted up after the second game was announced a mere year after the first game.  Left 4 Dead 2 is easily the better of the two games, offering an arsenal of weaponry and many more thrilling levels.

We can't wait to see what's next for the series.
