7 Celebrities Married About As Long As Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are calling it quits after...ummm three, minus four, carry the two...seventy-two days of wedded bliss. Give or take a couple days. No one. NO ONE. Should be surprised. What should come as a surprise is that it ended so fast. We all assumed it would last at least until a few seasons into one of the Kardashian spinoff shows. Nope.

Failed celebrity marriages aren't a surprise anymore but those that seem to end before they begin are rather odd. Here are seven quickie weddings and divorces that make Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries look like an old married couple.

Nicky Hilton

Paris is nutty but at least she doesn’t have a three month marriage on her resume. In 2004, Hilton married businessman Todd Andrew Meister at the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. The marriage was annulled shortly after. Stays at a Hilton last longer than Nicky's marriage.

Bradley Cooper

Jennifer Esposito and Bradley Cooper were wed in late 2006. The couple never commented on their romantic status for the better part of a year but then suddenly they were hitched. By May 2007, the couple called it quits. Esposito filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences and sought spousal support. When word hit the news about the divorce, Cooper admitted the couple had been separated for some time. So basically they had one good week.

Jim Carrey

After his separation from first wife in 1994, Carrey began dating his 'Dumb and Dumber' co-star Lauren Holly. "So you're saying there is a chance?" They were married on September 23, 1996. The marriage lasted only a couple months. Guess there really was no chance.

Sophia Bush

In 2005, Sophia Bush married her 'One Tree Hill' co-star Chad Michael Murray. They dated for almost two years before getting hitched. They announced their separation on September 26, 2005 after five months of marriage when Bush filed court papers to have their marriage annulled. A few months later she began dating her other 'One Tree Hill' co-star James Lafferty. In 2010, she confirmed a relationship with another co-star, Austin Nichols. Thank God the show ends next year because she has officially run out of co-stars to date.

Renee Zellweger

In 2005, Zellweger married country singer Kenny Chesney in a ceremony on the island of St. John. By September they announced their plans for an annulment. Zellweger cited "fraud" as the reason in the related papers. Chesney said he thought he was marrying the "girl in the movies." He must have gotten her confused with Tom Cruise.
