Alana Campos, Playboy’s Miss September, Will Not Date ‘Shrimp Heads’ [INTERVIEW]
We stole a few minutes with the official poster girl for this month, Playboy’s Miss September Alana Campos.
Things are pretty busy for this Brazilian beauty, who is a former Miss Brazil USA and current Playmate for the 2012 calendar. We chatted with her last week on the phone for a few minutes; she giggles a lot. It’s cute.
So, what was your reaction when you found out that you were picked to be Playboy’s Miss September?
I felt happy, of course. I was very, very excited because before I had heard that I would be a playmate in 2013. When I got the news that I was going to be Miss September in 2012, I was really happy.
Did you get to pick your month.?
No, that’s up to Playboy!
What’s you favorite month?
Well my birthday is in November, so I like November.
You’re from a pretty beautiful part of Brazil, but you don’t live there now — Where are you living?
I live in Boise, Idaho. I live here with my family, but I am moving to Los Angeles next month.
Exciting! So what’s next for you?
I’m just looking forward to enjoying the opportunities that come my way. I don’t really have a plan, I just want to enjoy it and be happy. I don’t want to do TV right now – just modeling.
If you could model for anyone, who would it be?
In a recent interview, you said that one of your biggest turn-offs is a man who has a ‘cabeca de camarao’ or a ‘shrimp head,’ which we thought was really funny. Can you tell us more about what that means, and how we can avoid being one?
There’s a lot of guys who are really awesome looking on the outside, but inside they aren’t interesting to talk to, and that’s not good. I like men who have something interesting to tell you or talk to you about – It’s not all about the body and the face.
What is your favorite month in the 2012 calendar?
What was the first cd you ever owned, and what kind of music do you listen to now?
Avril Lavigne was the first, but now I like electronic music a lot.
