No. 27: Beyond Good & Evil – 100 Greatest Games Ever

Is  Beyond Good & Evil a Zelda clone? Of course it is- the whole format is straight from Ocarina of Time. But with a title lifted from a Friedrich Nietzsche book you have to expect something a little more mature than Zelda, and that's just what we got.

That seems like a funny thing to say about a game that co-stars a man-sized talking boar, but it's true. The main thrust of the game sees you playing a photojournalist named Jade who is trying to uncover a vast military conspiracy. A great story is a bonus but this game looks as good as it plays, with tons of action and stealth segments to play through on the way.

The remastered HD versions that hit Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network features some nice improvements and belong in your library.
