Brutus Motorcycle Being Called ‘SUV on Two Wheels’

cmgonline.com

Imagine the safety and security of commandeering an SUV but with the feeling of riding a motorcycle and you get the idea behind the Brutus.

Designed by Alessandro Tartarini, who is the son of the paisan who founded Italjet motorcycles, the Brutus will go on sale in the Spring of 2013 under the OVER brand of bikes. Under Over. Roger.

Now here are the specs:

“The bike has a liquid-cooled DOHC 750 cc motor with EFI (with claimed 45 hp) and two-speed CVT transmission, and dry centrifugal clutch. There’s an optional reverse, and a snow kit available, with skis. At least, that’s what the press release seems to say. Other accessories available will include a sidecar, tow bar, winch kit and generator.”

The bike obviously wasn’t built for speed but if anyone wants to race you can just run them over — bike and all.
