Whether she's vampire-slaying, grudge-holding or cruel-intentions-having, Sarah Michelle Gellar has always had a firm grip on our imagination. She won us over when she inherited the mantle of Buffy in 1997, but she continued to slay us long after the show ended in 2003.

After she officially retired from her vampire-killing duties, Sarah continued to work with the supernatural. In particular, she starred in The Grudge and its sequel, likewise for the first two live adaptations of Scooby-Doo, where she played Daphne Blake. Those movies may not have been particularly good, but we'll always have a wooden stake ready for Sarah Michelle Gellar.
