New Research Says Women Can Drink Men Under the Table
Researchers at the University of Vigo in Spain polled 985 students and found that men drank more on average than women, but they did so at a slower rate. Women, in fact, easily outpaced men in drinks-per-hour, and were likely to have eight or more drinks per night.
The study found that 56.1 percent of women were binge drinkers, as opposed to only 41.3 percent of men. Researchers also say 51.2 percent of the women interviewed lead a consistently sedentary life, or don't get the recommended amount of daily exercise, compared to 41.7 of men.
Makes sense if you think about it. Have you ever tried to exercising while drunk?
