Held in Spain in honor of San Anton, the patron saint of animals, riders take horses through bonfires on the night before the official day of honoring animals in Spain. We had no idea the event existed until we stumbled across these pictures and HOLY TURDS DOES IT LOOK NUTS!

Riding through a fire is dangerous enough but taking an unpredictable animal along who might up and decide to toss your butt high into the air and down into the mouth of some unforgiving flames is pure nutty hijinks to which we will politely decline participating.

Check out these photos from Las Luminarias de San Anton that make the 'Running of the Bulls' look like a jog around a middle school playground.
