Easily the strongest of Naughty Dog's incredible series, and possibly the reason to purchase a PS3, Uncharted 2 starts off on a cliffhanger - literally. As shown in the box art you wake up battered and bloody in a train car that's currently hanging over a precipice, and have to climb your way to the safety of a frozen wilderness. Along the way the game will show you just how you got in this predicament, the cliched flashbacks actually working beautifully to hide important info from you till it delivers with the maximum impact.

Set piece after set piece awaits you, and while the morals of the character are still in question (he's a good guy but also quite the mass murderer!) it's the kind of rollicking adventure that we didn't get with an Indiana Jones installment.
