The grandaddy of all puzzlers and still the most addicting game ever made. There have been dozens of different versions -- it's gone 3D, received its own world, it's attacked and even been played on the side of buildings -- but the ol' Game Boy version is still king. There's a beautiful simplicity to it that cannot be matched by its hundreds of imitators.
The easiest way to prove its effectiveness is to play it for a few hours before going to sleep. You're going to be playing again, as soon you close your eyes, and when you wake up you're going to see blocks everywhere you look. Tetris gets inside you like few other games.
