GoPro Catches Motorcycle Crashing Head-On With a Fire Truck
Here's a frightening reminder about the importance of driving safe.
Jesse Lopez,24, was cruising along in his motorcycle in suburban Los Angels back in April with a GoPro attached to his helmet when he rounded a curve and crashed right into a fire truck.
Lopez wound up getting airlifted to a trauma center where he learned he had broken his left leg in two places. He also broke an arm.
No one in the truck suffered any injuries.
He may have lived through the ordeal, but watching the video brought a new kind of intensity to Lopez, who said, "When I saw what happened, I got shocked. I was like, 'Woah!'"
He's decided to share the video to help prevent other catastrophic accidents. His advice? "Be aware. Be more cautious when riding. Don't do what I did."
